We have enabled a feature called 'GreyListing' for all email recipients. This feature will further reduce the amount of spam that our servers process and in turn reduce the amount of spam you might receive.
All common mail senders such as Yahoo, Google, Facebook, etc... will not be affected by Grey Listing, however you could see up to a 10 minute delay on the first message someone sends you from an unknown provider. This does rely on the senders server being configured correctly (ie not a spammer) to resend the message. The sender themselves are not required to do anything and is transparent to them. After this initial message is resent from the sender our servers learn about them and approve automatically in the future.
Here is a good article explain how it works, some of it is a bit techy, but it give you a good idea: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greylisting
If you find that you are expecting a particular message and have not received it within an hour, please open a ticket and we can check to confirm if it has been Grey Listed.
